COMPARE / BY JOB TO BE DONE

Keep the operating system. Add the technical layer the field is missing.

A CMMS or field-service platform runs the business. Field Intelligence helps a technician identify the equipment, reach the supporting source, follow the next checks, and preserve the verified fix.

CATEGORY MATRIX

Different tools are good at different jobs.

These are category-level distinctions. Individual vendors vary, so confirm the exact capabilities in your current plan and configuration.

THE BOUNDARY

What Field Intelligence does not replace.

It does not replace dispatch, scheduling, payroll, inventory, purchasing, invoicing, or the work-order system that already runs commercial operations.

WHERE IT FITS
  1. Work order opensYour CMMS or field-service platform owns the operational record.
  2. Technical work beginsField Intelligence connects the asset, site, source material, guided checks, and prior knowledge.
  3. Resolution returnsThe verified fix and supporting evidence can accompany the closeout and asset history.

EVALUATION SCRIPT

Ask every vendor the same five questions.

01

Can a technician inspect the exact technical source behind the answer?

02

Does the workflow recognize when the exact model source is missing?

03

Can private site documents stay scoped to the authorized team?

04

What still works after connectivity disappears?

05

Can the verified resolution return to the asset and operating record?

QUESTIONS / ANSWERED

Questions buyers ask before the next step.

Straight answers about fit, coverage, rollout, and technical trust.

01Does it replace ServiceTitan, UpKeep, MaintainX, or our work-order system?

No. Keep the system that runs dispatch and commercial operations. The field-intelligence workflow adds equipment identity, cited troubleshooting, site context, maps, manual access, and reusable service knowledge alongside it.

02What manuals and manufacturers are covered?

The public library is refreshed from the live catalog and spans manuals and diagrams from many commercial-equipment manufacturers. Coverage still varies by model and document type, so every supported response shows the source it used and makes an exact-model gap visible.

03What happens when the exact model manual is unavailable?

The answer basis should make the limitation visible. A technician can review the closest supporting source, avoid treating it as an exact-model procedure, and request the missing document for the library or configured site packet.

04Can technicians verify the source behind an answer?

Yes. Page-level citations, the manual title, and the supporting passage stay attached to supported responses so the technician can inspect the source before acting.

05Does it work without internet access?

Saved manual references and configured site packets are designed for low-connectivity work. Teams should prepare and sync the required packet before entering an offline area.
